Breaking bad news is a very difficult and distressing task faced by staff from many professions. The Bereavement Group of the Accident and Emergency Department of the Leicester Royal Infirmary, in collaboration with its Health Education Video Unit and the Leicester Constabulary, has developed this training video to help staff cope with this difficult task. It is hoped that this video will help staff and trainers from many professions, including medical staff and police officers, to explore this very challenging and sensitive aspect of their jobs.
