About Russell Kightley: Scientific Illustrator

Russell Kightley has been involved in medical and scientific illustration since 1981 and has used high end computer paint systems since 1985. He worked at Stanford University (Medical Center) in California in the early 80s and studied at the Australian National University (Graduate Diploma in Electronic Arts in 1997). His illustrations have been widely published around the world. He has many years experience making medical videos (scripting, directing and illustrating). Productions he worked on won 42 INTERNATIONAL FILM & VIDEO AWARDS (35 as director, including Silver at The British Medical Association and Gold at Worldfest Houston). His first award was a CINE Golden Eagle in 1984. He now works chiefly in 3D creating science graphics (still, animated, and interactive). He has an extensive collection of existing work that can be used as it is or he can create new material for you.

USING OUR SERVICES

Simply navigate to the picture that you want using the galleries or the search box at the upper right of every page. Then, when you have the large version of the image on the screen, click the green BUY button and follow the prompts.
• Existing animations: please email me so that I can work out a price for you.
• Custom Graphics: as a specialist in science graphics I can create images and animations to suit your exacting professional requirements.
• Images on Merchandise & Posters: please visit our SHOP which sells many items (e.g. mugs, t-shirts, & tiles).
