PUBLICATION & COMMERCIAL: image & animation price calculator

IMAGE USE CONDITIONS: All image licenses are single use, non-exclusive and non-transferable. The images are licenced to you for a particular use (i.e. they are Rights Managed) and copyright and all other rights are reserved by Russell Kightley.

IMAGE DELIVERY IS NOT IMMEDIATE: I handle all orders personally to ensure you get exactly what you want. Please allow 24 hours for your password to arrive. When your payment arrives I will send you an email containing a link for you to collect the image (along with your username and password). You then simply click on the link, enter your username and password and the image (or a link to it) will appear in your browser. Once the image has fully appeared in your browser you save it to your hard drive. We also e-mail you a paid invoice (sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail) that specifies your image use. In some cases images will be attached to an e-mail. Please allow longer for animations that need to be rendered to your specifications.

CURRENCY IS AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS: Please remember that we charge in Australian dollars. Other currency values are approximate and for guidance only. The actual cost in your currency will depend on prevailing exchange rates (which vary from day to day), bank fees and your method of payment. Please check with your financial institution for their rates and charges. If you pay on-line using this form you should be able to see the cost in your currency during checkout.

PRINT RUN OR NUMBER OF COPIES: for publications like magazines that produce print and electronic versions (pdf for web download) the number of copies entered in the quantity box should be the sum of the printed copies and the electronic downloads. Alternatively, use the total number of subscribers. If you are unsure of the combined value you should use the readership figure (or audience numbers) that you quote to advertisers.

ANIMATIONS: the calculator will compute prices for animations as well as still images. Please use pixels as the size units. Please select an animation option in the third (the last) pull down option. Animations can be re-rendered at the size you want. Please allow an extra few days for this to happen. If you are after an animation for computer display then we have a simple single user licence for AUS$33.

WALL PRINTS: licenses are for non-advertising use and only allow a maximum of four prints (i.e. enter a number between 1 and 4 in the print run box). Please note that only an image file is provided: printing, mounting and framing is done at the clients expense.

BROADCAST TELEVISION: please use 720 x 625 pixels for broadcast TV. For the "print run or number of copies" box enter the viewing figures for the program. Calculated prices allow for any duration within the broadcast but only apply for a single transmission. If you want a price for multiple transmissions of the same program (i.e. the identical edit) use the number of viewers times the number of transmissions. For example, if each broadcast attracts 1,000,000 viewers and you plan to broadcast the program three times, enter 3,000,000 in the "print run or number of copies" box.
