Nitrous oxide N2O: consists of two nitrogen atoms and one oxygen atoms arranged in a line (i.e. it is a linear molecule). Known as laughing gas because of its euphoric effects. It is used in dentistry. Nitrous oxide is an ozone depleter and a greenhouse gas.
