Corner Cube Reflectors reflect a beam of light back parallel to the incoming (incident) beam. They are known as RETROREFLECTORS.They can do this because they have three reflective surfaces at right angles to each other. Each surface then reverses one component of incoming the light. This useful property is used in the red reflectors at the back of vehicles so that approaching vehicles can see them easily. Try playing with the various controls to see this effect illustrated. You can re-set everything.
