ORGANELLE DIAGRAM: NUCLEOLUS:
In this picture, the nucleolus is drawn as a purple sphere, with radiating attached condensed chromatin (heterochromatin). The nucleolus is where the components of ribosomes are manufactured. These ribosomal components exit through the nuclear pores and enter the cytoplasm where they assemble into ribosomes.
