ORGANELLE DIAGRAM: MICROTUBULES:
In this picture, microtubules are the pale spoke-like structures. They originate near the centre of the cell at the centrosome. The centrosome contains two centrioles, which are bundles of microtubules. Microtubules are protein polymers which are relatively rigid and afford the cell some strength. Microtubules also act in a funicular-like way to help objects move around in the cell.
