Physics Animation: distorting mirror changing from convex to concave

This animation shows a mirror that changes from a convex reflecting surface to a concave reflecting surface. The parallel tubes on the table in front of the mirror illustrate how the reflected image is distorted. Note how the gold and silver tubes are flipped in the image in the concave mirror. Compare the distortions in this mirror with those in the companion graphic of a spherical mirror.
